Applicable taxation for shares’ sale through the BMV to individuals and corporations residing in Mexico and / or abroad is provided, among others, in Articles 22, 23, 56, 126, 129, 161 and other applicable provisions of the Income Tax Law and Fiscal Miscellany Resolutions. Investors should consult their tax advisors the effects of the acquisition, holding and disposal of shares.

The Annual General Shareholders’ Meeting held in April 2018 approved to allocate the amount of Ps4,886’000,000.00 (Four thousand, four hundred and eighty six million pesos 00/100), equivalent to 1.5% of the Financial Groups’ market capitalization value as of December 2017, charged against equity, to purchase Company’s shares during 2018, and will consider those transactions to be carried out in 2018 and until April 2019, subject to the Treasury’s Policy for Transactions with Shares.
Which is our dividend policy?
GFNorte's Ordinary General Shareholders’ Meeting held on November 19th, 2015, approved to modify the Dividend Policy, which was effective since October 2011.
As of November 2015, the Policy establishes that the dividend payment can be between 16% and up to 40% of the net income of the prior year.
- For reference, the former Policy which decreed dividends established a payment between 16% and 20% of the recurring net income depending on its annual growth.

Where is the ADR listed, which is its symbol and convertibility?
In June 2009, Grupo Financiero Banorte established a Level 1 Sponsored Program of ADRs in the United States, which allows it to operate in "Over the Counter" markets without having to be listed in the NYSE or NASDAQ. The shares operate under the GBOOY symbol, and each ADR represents 5 shares of GFNorte. On July 15, 2010, the Level 1 ADR program was authorized to operate in the OTCQX International Premier platform.
At the end of September 2018 there were 7,358,556 outstanding ADRs.
