Grupo Financiero Banorte (BMV ticker: GFNORTEO) announced the establishment of a Level 1 Sponsored American Depositary Receipt (ADRs) Program in the United States, as a consequence of the changes to Rule 12g3-2b by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on October 10th, 2008, that facilitates the establishment of sponsored and non-sponsored ADR programs for companies that do not operate in US stock markets.
